The events on September 11, 2001 in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, did not just affect the people that were involved, rather the entire world. The acts that took place and the lives that were lost will never be forgotten by anyone that is alive right now. From the old to the young, although one might not understand the entire situation, one does understand that the world, as a whole, got a taste of what the future of terrorist acts gas to offer. Watching hours of excessive television for the past few days, it is not hard to miss the hundreds of people from all walks of life expressing their sympathy on the situation. This includes musicians. From the highest to the lowest, musicians from all walks of the business have made it a must to express their feelings and thoughts on the subject. After all that is part of the job. Being a musician or any person that has fame or in the eyes of the world, must share their lives and therefore their thoughts on matters such as this. Music channels have singers, rappers, music video directors and all the people from all ranks of the music industry coming on camera and expressing their feelings on camera. I think that this is great; in a way, it is a way for musicians to pay people back for their support, by giving their support to the audience. No one can tell how long it will take for the world to recover or even retaliate from these devastating acts. However, there is one thing that we can all be sure of and that is when we all need it, there are people that are willing to give it. It is love; take care of yourselves and each other.
